FIRST TIME? UNSURE ABOUT THERAPY?

Therapy is important for many reasons. Firstly, it can provide a safe and confidential space for individuals to discuss their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Therapy can also help individuals develop a better understanding of themselves and their emotions, which can lead to improved self-esteem and self-awareness.
Additionally, therapy can provide individuals with coping skills and strategies to manage difficult situations and emotions

SELF-CARE IS NOT SELFISH.

You don't have to go through this alone. Invest in your mental health.

As a therapist and transformational coach, it is my job to not only help you see who you are but to help you move through the limiting beliefs and circumstances that keep you from living your life from a place of possibility.

MEET OUR TEAM OF  THERAPISTS

HI, I AM TERRITA CHAMBERS

As a licensed clinical mental health therapist, coach, and consultant, I specialize in supporting women who struggle with creating nurturing healthy relationships, finding and loving themselves, body image, and acceptance.

I work with women who truly want to learn and live in their authentic truth. I pride myself in being down-to-earth, and relatable and my clients appreciate being able to let their guards down, I enjoy life and I want to help you do the same.

I have personally and professionally been in ALL of the before-mentioned spaces. I’ve been on countless diets, phone calls with friends for hours (or those whom I thought) in an attempt to relieve anxiety and stress, in the prayer line, in unhealthy relationships- ALL OF IT. Yes, it helped sometimes, but not long term. It’s tough feeling deep inside like you’re not good enough, all while you are accomplishing goals and “looking successful”. It wasn’t until I became accountable to my negative internal dialogue, and renewed my thoughts that I begin to experience transformation.

And GURL, that’s a never-ending job. Transformation is an evolutionary process, with ebbs and flows. Anxiety, compulsions, negative emotional patterns and cycles, body issues, eating concerns, relational issues, and feelings of stagnation are symptoms and indicators that the transformational process is calling you.

I counsel a lot of people who struggle with living in the truth. I help them to see where the roadblocks are that keep them stuck. As a therapist and transformational coach, it is my job to not only help you see who you are but to help you move through the limiting beliefs and circumstances that keep you from living your life from a place of possibility.

With the world forever changing and evolving it is easy for one to lose sight of self and those aspects of life that are most important which can negatively impact our means of coping and communicating. Let’s work together in developing skills that support overall mental and emotional well-being and promote balance to strengthen relationships. Many times, our thought processes are influenced by past experiences and traumas. The learned behaviors result in ineffective coping strategies and unhealthy expression of emotions. Such difficulties can result in feeling misunderstood and unsupported by loved ones. Learning to identify triggers and recognize areas of improvement are some of the first steps in emotional management and redirecting distorted thoughts. Cognitive behavioral therapy as well as solution focused are modalities implemented in sessions to aid clients in changing distorted thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety and depression which create conflict with self and in relationships. With techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and a solution-focused approach, you can better manage your day-to-day responsibilities and improve your overall quality of life.

I have over 15 years of experience working in the mental health industry. I have experience providing therapeutic and intervention services to children, adults, and families of various populations. I strive to aid each individual in healing, improving emotional intelligence, and achieving self-actualization.

The challenge of trying to manage self-care, relationships, and responsibilities can be stressful and defeating.  You often have feelings of being unhappy with where you are in life

Hi, I'm Samantha Gingles

Have you ever been afraid of people seeing the real you? Do you live with a fear that you’re not enough- not good enough, not smart enough, not qualified enough, etc? Do you struggle with seeing your worth and the amazing strengths you have to offer those around you? Sometimes loving ourselves and living in our truth can be the hardest tasks, but hard and impossible are not the same thing.

Hi, Tiye DuBard, M.ed, LCMCHA

Obstacles such as anxiety, low self-esteem, and imposter syndrome can be difficult parts of life. These barriers can become even heavier when they’re paired with other challenges such as work or school-related stress, difficult life transitions, or grief and loss. With the right tools, however, we can find ways to navigate these challenges so that we can be our best and favorite version of ourselves.

As a therapist, I strive to assist my clients on their journey towards self-empowerment and self-love. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space for you to process your thoughts and experiences. In my practice, I primarily utilize Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I incorporate techniques that include journaling thoughts and feelings, goal setting, relaxation, and stress reduction skills.

I would love to be a part of your therapeutic journey! Contact me to schedule a consultation.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

FAQS

How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?

I’ve never talked to anyone. I’m used to handling things on my own. Aren’t people who go to therapy weak?

Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I’ll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing.

What’s the difference between talking to you or my best friend or family?

The difference is between someone who can do something and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally. A mental health professional can help you approach your situation in a new way– teach you new skills, gain different perspectives, listen to you without judgment or expectations, and help you listen to yourself.

Because each person has different issues and goals for counseling, it will be different depending on the individual. I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs.
